Do you have a passion for sustaining and improving cutting-edge technology within critical infrastructure? TKH Airport Solutions is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sustaining Engineer to support and advance the reliability of our CEDD technology and related airfield hardware.

In this role, you will ensure our existing products remain high-performing and compliant throughout their lifecycle. You’ll take ownership of troubleshooting, testing alternatives, and implementing design updates while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Based in the Netherlands, you’ll play a crucial role in driving sustainable, future-proof airfield technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve the performance and reliability of existing AGL and CEDD systems.
• Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Research and validate alternative components and design modifications.
• Ensure product designs remain sustainable, manufacturable, and cost-effective.
• Maintain detailed documentation of design changes, test outcomes, and bill of materials updates.
• Support cost price reduction by contributing to design optimizations and component selection.
• Support design and project teams with technical insights and product updates.
• Coordinate the change management process for design updates.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a sustaining, test, or design engineering role.
• Familiarity with AGL lighting systems and CEDD technology is a plus.
• Strong understanding of electrical components and their qualification processes.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch or other European languages is an advantage.
